Character Workshop For Actors In Productions:

This workshop teaches basics of ways to start working on a character from the outside to the inside. It works on giving concrete ways of turning a character’s descriptive adjectives into physical actions that can be used onstage. It also helps an actor explore the many centers a character has during the course of the play. How does the character walk, talk, etc.?

The cost is $75/hour.

Cicely Berry’s “The Actor And The Text”:

This workshop is invaluable for any Shakespeare Text. It helps the actor learn to use their voice effectively to express their character’s intentions. It helps the actor use the physicality of the language to bring the character to life.

The cost is $75/hour.

Musical Theater Workshop:

This workshop is invaluable to the actor in a musical or the actor auditioning for a musical or cabaret performance. It focuses on making a song a scene. It incorporates the techniques of improvisation as well as Cicely Berry’s work to help bring the song to life.

The cost is $75/hour.

Creative Dramatics Workshop:

This is for the younger child usually from Kindergarten thru 4th grades. It incorporates Viola Spolin’s Theater Games And Improvisation into a cohesive workshop session to help the students learn to work creatively as an ensemble.
